Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV)
SRRV is a special Non-Immigrant Visa for foreign nationals who intend to make the Philippines as their second home or investment destination.
It is a lifetime visa, once issued, its holders will be exempt from the Bureau of Immigration requirements and will be eligible to work, study, and/or invest in the country.

Who may avail and apply for SRRV?
SRRV may be availed by foreign nationals or former Filipino citizens who are at-least 50 years old.
Principal applicant may include his/her dependent spouse together with their legitimate (or legally adopted) unmarried children who are below 21 years old.
Basic and Other Documentary Requirements
All applicants must accomplish the necessary PRA application forms together with their original passport with valid Temporary Visitor’s Visa.
They must also pay the required fees and tender the SRRV Deposit that must be inwardly remitted. Documentary requirements includes the following, to wit:
SRRVisa Options to Consider
1. SRRV SMILE– who opt to maintain their SRR Visa deposit of US$20,000.00 in any of the PRA Accredited Banks.
2. SRRV CLASSIC– who opt to use their SRR Visa deposit into active investment such as the purchase of condominium unit or long term lease of house & lot. The SRR Visa deposit is US$ 10,000.00, if with pension, and US$ 20,000.00, if without pension.
3. SRRV HUMAN TOUCH– who needs/requires medical/clinical care. A monthly pension of at least US$1,500.00, a health insurance policy accepted in the Philippines, and an SRR Visa deposit of US$10,000.00 are required.
4. SRRV COURTESY– for those who are retired officers of International Organizations recognized by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). An SRR Visa deposit of US$1,500.00 is required.
5. EXPANDED COURTESY– who are retired Armed Force officers of foreign countries with existing military ties and/or agreement with the Philippine Government. A monthly pension of at least US$1,000.00 and an SRR Visa deposit of US$1,500.00 is required.
